The Village Inn
I hadn’t been in ages, but hearing how great some friends had found The Village Inn, I had to experience it anew for myself. Situated at the main intersection in Bradford, affectionately known as the V.I., which has been located on the southeast corner of Holland St (Hwy 11) and Simcoe Street for years. In fact it’s become a famous landmark. Central to Newmarket and Innisfil, it’s a great place to meet when your party is coming from all directions. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t been there at some point for a live band or just to hang out with friends and watch the game. Speaking of famous, the wings, as always, came highly recommended and rightly so. With so many succulent flavours to choose from, we couldn’t decide, so each ordered a different kind and shared. There aren’t many things that can outdo those wings and an ice-cold draught. That’s not all the menu has to offer either ~ ribs, pizza, you name it… A terrific time was in the making. Our evening was totally impressive. If you haven’t been in a while, then you haven’t taken in the stunning renovations. The new interior is really something to behold and outside is definitely pleasing to the eye. In warmer months the patio welcomes. Live music on Friday nights and a Toronto radio DJ Saturday nights to get the dance crowd jumping, capping off the other attractions such as billiards and weeknight karaoke and line dancing. More often than not, you’ll find something exciting going on at the V.I. My advice ~ don’t wait; go on, you know you want to see for yourself!
